My Experience in Gardening
Our First Plant Sale May 2004
At the start of the Gardening I was not that interested, but I was good at filling up the pots with the Soil so I kept going.
These are herb pots with parsley, sage, rosemary & thyme. The pots are made of terracotta. We put foam in the bottom so that the water wouldnt leak out.
Secondly I planted the seeds in the pots. Some seeds were Marigold, Asters and lots of others. There are 6 plants in each tray.

I put them all in our tunnell that we have at the side of the school which was built about 15-20 years ago and is still in good nick.
I had to water them every day cause now they were growing FAST!
As they got older, it was time to sell them off.
Nobody thought that we would make any money on it but my hopes were high.
Then came the day. I had to use my sales skills to reel in the punters. We nearly sold all our plants. We made over 400 euro. Take up gardening- Its easy money!

| Pumpkin- Should be ready for Halloween | Melon- I cant wait for these to grow! | Sweet Corn |

Onions- they look a bit sad and stringy at the moment but they should perk up in a few days. They have gone into shock cos we took them off the seed tray and put them into the big tray. When we move them on, they freak out and you have to take really good care of them for a few days. |
| Potatoes- We covered part of the tunnell with plastic and cut holes in it and in the holes we planted potatos. When they get bigger all the weeds will die cos there will be no light and the potatos will grow under the ground and then we can dig them up and eat them like chips. | ![]() |

SPRING TIME
This is one of our lovely cherry
trees.
We planted spring daffodils around it to keep it company.
in japan there is a big festival when the blossoms come on the cherry tree.

We like the purple grape hyacinths beside the yellow daffodils

the daffodils fall out onto the path. you can see the rose bushes and cherry trees in the background.

This is the way into the school. Bill keeps it nice and tidy!
