Greendale Community Sports Project

Santa came to Kilbarrack in support of the Greendale Community Sports Project. Also out for the day were the Community Gardaí and members of the Dublin Fire Brigade.

Gaelscoil Míde and Scoil Eoin Students met at the Church Car Park and walked up to the Greendale Gym behind the Fire Engine.

The Fire Truck came and then Santa came out and we followed the truck to Greendale and the firemen let us in the truck to play with the siren, and then we got free basketballs.

And then we went into Greendale and the Firemen and the Guards had a match. The Firemen won, and some people from America came. And then we had matches against the other teams, and then we had to give the basketballs back to get small ones.

Then we got sweets and then we finished. It was fun!

Everyone was given a present of a basketball, and then we held a competition between the Gardai and the Firemen.

Our Principal of Scoil Eoin, Brendan Kelleher got a present too!
